Highway I-Abandon (Poem)

Outside the city, where you chased their silly dreams
There lies the Highway I-Abandon

Towns, deserts, mountains, waterfalls and expansive views
All beckoning a different tune within,
Some asking you to come play, others telling you to run away.

The no destination open highway, passing through infinity,
Looking at the vastness, your mind merges with it,
Dropping little mindedness and propping forth creative abandon,
Fascinating and powerful, new seeds take birth and are sown, deep in one’s soul,
In time they shall harvest, but for yet they are unknown.

You don’t know where this road takes you and what you might discover,
But there won’t be regrets if you took Highway I-Abandon.
